It’s a time of global uncertainty, but Netflix is has blessed us with season 4 of “Big Mouth”. The Netflix show debuted its trailer and key art today. The tentative date of its premiere is December the 4th.
Season 4 of Big Mouth focuses on uncertainty, but not the political one. Instead, it’s about the uncertainty of growing up, finding out who you are, discovering yourself, and the process of accepting yourself. The season starts in the summer camp before our lovely gang enters the 8th grade.
Maria Bamford descends as Tito the mosquito, the insect that plagues with fear and anxiety, which is after all our favorite children. As the season progresses, we meet Zach Galifianakis’ Gratitoad, who helps our crew to cope with their fear and not to let it overwhelm them. In the great Big Mouth tradition, the show continues to explore human sexuality and everything around it, including sexual identity, sexual identity, love in all its forms, and the “Ugliest Period Ever”.
Other guest stars in season 4 include Seth Rogen, Josie Totah, Lena Waithe, Quinta Brunson, John Oliver, Sterling K. Brown, Paul Giamatti, Maya Erskine, and Anna Konkle. As announced, Ayo Edebiri has been cast as Missy and will be introduced in the penultimate episode as her character evolves. She will continue to voice Missy in the final episode and in future seasons.
